I also have PCOS and have been able to lose weight with the DS. Down 86 lbs in 5 1/2 months. My PCOS symptoms have not disappeared however. I had a hysterectomy so don't have to deal with the menstrual problems anymore, but still grow hairs on my chin. I was hoping that would go away. Guest guest
A New Year's resolution of mine is to read Managing PAIN Before It Manages You by Margaret A. Caudill, MD, Phd. I am planning on working through it at 3-5 pages a day cuz there's workbook stuff in it to fill out. I love all the worksheets to fill out(that can be copied off) and take along to the doctor's visits. It covers every area that pain affects. It also covers relaxation and exercise techniques which is something i need to work on. Well...just thought I'd mention a good find in a pain management workbook! S. Life is short...live it to the fullest...to your last living breath.
