Ponseti Video - a joint venture!

Dear all,

Hi, I'm delighted that you have found the video, and even more

delighted that the feedback is positive. Just for clarification, the

video was a joint venture between my company,C-Pro Direct Ltd, a

charity called 'Both Feet Forward' which has been set up by Naomi

(Ponseti trained consultant in UK) and Steps. The idea came

from Naomi and C-Pro Direct produced the video and hence own

the copyright.

Our vision was to provide a free informational video to parents so

therefore the copyright says the video can be freely copied and

distributed, but not amended, nor can any charge be made for it....so

no problems with downloading to your ipod Kori! We produced the video

over the summer in time for the International Clubfoot conference

which was held in the UK at the end of September and a copy was given

to each delegate. I know Dr Herzenberg and Dr Fred Dietz were

attendees. Some hospitals in the UK now give the video out (in DVD

form) to new parents, and as you have already seen, it can be viewed

on line too.Most of the parents who participated are members of the

Steps forum and gladly donated their time, ideas, suggestions, photos

etc as we all felt it was something we wanted to do to help other

parents. Also the narrator is a well known actor in the UK who gave

his time for free. So many people pulled together to make it happen,

and we are all proud of the final product, and hope it makes a

difference!
