Hello to everyone I think this is a marvellous group, very

helpful first of all tell you ,sorry about my English I wish I had

paid more attention at my English class .I am 24 years old man from

Spain but I am doing my surgery in United states ,meanwhile I am

doing the orthodontic treatment in Spain. I will have my upper jaw

move forwards 8milimeters.

I had been reading many messages and I am kind of scared because

some people are told that they will use screws inside the bone so

they don´t have to wired them but after they realize their jaws

keep moving so they are not sure if they really used screws inside

(is it call rigid fixation?) or just wiring .Doesn't this show

through X rays? and if the doctor lied can't he be sue? I am

studying medicine and in general I think people trust too much in

doctors and have too much respect for them. They are not gods and

the same way you complain if you ask a mechanist to fix your car and

if he does´t get it fix you complain or even sue him you should

feel with the same rights to complain to a doctor that didn´t fix

your bite.

I also wanted to ask the people that has been already operated if

they could give me some tips to find the best surgeon if I should

look for a very sensible doctor? or very humane? or that listen and

answer every question without rush you to finish or what ever you

think that is important to find a good surgeon and have success in

this surgery and don´t have to regret afterwards .Thank you very

much and good luck to everyone
