Hello folks! I had both my upper and lower jaws moved forward approx.

10mm for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. This was done about 3 years ago at

the U of M hospital in Ann Arbor. I have some " cosmetic " remains of

the surgery, that I would like to correct. In particular I have a

rather large lump on my lower mandible at the point where the mandible

was cut and the plate was inserted. All the plates have been removed,

but this " lump " remains. Not very attractive!

Can anyone here recommend a OMS here in Michigan whom you have had

good results with or know to be a good doc?

Please let me know.

Hope to hear from you soon. I'm glad I found this board!!

Thank you.

I'm having my suregery with Dr. Nick Leone in St. Clair Shores next

week. I will let you know how it turns out. Dr. Leone comes highly

recommended by my ortho, and my dentist. I also have several friends

who have had minor surgery (wisdom teeth) who are completely

satisfied with him. If his work is as good as his bedside manner,

then I anticipate being completely satisfied also. I am expecting

nothing but the best! :o)
