Guest guest
Thank you ladies for sharing - I have to tell you that I have been punishing myself for months. I am suffering through a 30 lbs bounce back. Now - I keep telling mself that holding a 72% loss of my excess weight is still a success in the medical community - however (hear the whiiiinnnnneee) I miss being a size 10. I am almost mourning the three minutes (actually about 6 months) at my bottom weight post reconstructive surgery. Now for the good part - I am 5'1 " and hanging in at about 175 lbs. (I know this is not ideal - but my body seems to be stuck here). That for me is a size 14 on the bottom and a medium on top. I am coming to the realization that there is really nothing wrong with that - except that it isn't a 10 LOL! I feel good and look good. For the last three weeks I have been on Atkins induction along with 3 - 4 times a week at curves - no additional loss - but no gain either. I have an appointment with my primary for bloodwork (it is time) and to talk with him about the whole T3 issue (I haven't had a thyroid in 20 years and am just taking synthroid - perhaps that is where all this trouble started...). Thanks for sharing your innermost thoughts. It helps to know that not everyone defines success as a size 3 - 105 lbs dripping wet (not a cut to anyone - but this is where I wanna be deep down...) Marjie 12/9/99 -125 and holding. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 with e-mail virus protection service: 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus
