Tracie,You are a most wish young lady. What you describe is what I learned in the mid 70's to help me deal with Vascular Migraine Headaches. Of course in the 70's they called it BioFeedBack. I learned to control my breathing, my heart rate so as to be able to find complete relaxation. I in turn learned to control my blood pressures. And before this I was kind of one the test subject for narcotics for VM headaches. I try to do this relaxation every morning and usually works. But sometimes something will trigger a flashback, a sight, sound or thought. When I have one I ussually can knock it down real fast. I guess my weakness is somebody says something stupid to me I will snap in a second explode in angry words. I guess for that I will need more to do more prayers and pentances to relieve myself of some guilt. Again I am truly grateful for your insight and experiences.Greg> > From: mosaicgirl1

Greg,

Know that whatever is behind your ptsd-- is important and is - even without knowledge of what it's about-- validated.

It's ok to be comfortable enough with this group family that we can discuss the fears and pain that we've experienced. That is what a support group does-- we support.

To be able to share our insights is a gift-- and we all grow.

With compassion,

Tracie

Tracie,I Greg bows to Tracies' widsom and insight. I can say no more about PTSD's. Your experiences enlighten everybody. I can not share some of my experiences. Mostly because they are too ugly and hurtful. I can nor will I share my private horrors. I should not have even mention them. I got too relaxed here, which is good.On to better subjects "HAPPY EASTER TO ALL AND MAY ALL HERE BE BLESSED WITH A PAIN-FREE DAY".Greg> > > > From: mosaicgirl1 <mosaicgirl1@ ...>> > Subject: Re: Neurosarcoidosis, Prednisone, and PTSD> > To: Neurosarcoidosis@
