Hi welcome to the group. Congratulations on getting to the other

side. Im approaching my 3rd year post op anniversary this summer. I

had surgery to correct A class III under bite. I had upper, lower and

RPE. After surgery my face was numb from the eyes down. It did

gradually ease off over 3months or so. I do have a little numberness

under my lower lip to the right, but that was from a previous surgery

to remove my wisdom teeth. it takes a while for the swelling and

numbness to subside you've just got to bare with it. sOME of the

numbeness my ease once the swelling goes down. You will find you get

tingling sensations which suggests that the numbess is easing.

|Good luck with recovering. One tip get pleanty of fluids and keep on

top of your medication. Any questions and your in the right place. I

was so glad of the help and advice i received on these boards. These

guys are ace!

Kind regards
