Have you been to your oral surgeon yet? I know that on my visits with

the OS he asks many questions about what problems I may be having.

They normally ask things such as what pain you may be having, how your

bite affects your ability to chew, to speak, etc. All of these things

are documented and sent to your insurance company when they try to get

pre-approval. They also take many pictures, not just of your face,

but they use retractors to take pictures of the inside of your mouth.

X-rays are also more likely to show any abnormalities. When you meet

with your OS be completely honest with him, and most importantly don't

try to downplay any of the problems you may be having. I'm waiting

for pre-authorization from my insurance company at present, so I feel

for you. I hope for the best for you. Hope this helps.
