Guest guest
Zulu, I agree with you that assymetry makes you less attractive. On the other hand, from what I know, there are very few people who are truly symmetrical. I'm not saying we shouldn't be unhappy - I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you to go through this type of surgery and come out not liking what you see in the mirror. But sometimes we are too hard on ourselves. And sometimes, we miss what we used to look like, and it does take time to get used to the new face in the mirror. For example, I can't say I liked having assymetrical chin, but I was so used to it, that looking in the mirror now is weird.... where is my big chin?? BTW, is it your chin that is off center? Can this be fixed with genio? > > You may not notice face imperfections, but all those imperfections > add to less attractive face... > > next time you look at an average looking face ask yourself why they > are just average looking ...it's because of how each facial part is > positioned and proportioned... we may not notice the asymmetry or > proportions, but we'll just say they are not that good looking... > > conclusion: asymmetry (among other things) will make you less > attractive, if everything else is held equal... > > I'm glad that my bite has been corrected and i don't feel self- > conscious about my profile; however, I'm not happy about the > asymmetry that's resulted from the surgery...
