Guest guest
Actually my OS did mine at once...I was going in for upper and genio and when I came out my deviated septum was corrected and my many large sinus polyups were removed too. Neat thing is, I always had allergies, sinus probs etc, but never knew the extent of the situation and once I woke up ALL of it was done! Made for a bit og a tough recovery initially due to the (pardon) mucus production from that healing and then not being able to blow your nose for 4 wks...but Q-tips and some other techniques and you over come that easily enough! Good luck JO > > Hello, I just started posting here recently. I am looking at > possibly having surgery this summer for upper and lower. Guest guest
Thanks for all the responses. I have scheduled to go ahead with the surgery. I will be having that in May. Recovery time is supposed to be about a week with total healing time in 4-6 weeks. Since I don't have a date yet for the jaw surgery I think it should be ok, it shouldn't set me back. I guess I'll see how it goes. It would be nice just to be able to breath normal. Thanks again for all the great information.
