Here's Your Current Edition of Overweight NewsDear Group:

I decided to forward my edition of Overweight News to the group this week

since it included the article about reduced bone density after gastric

bypass.

The only thing I didn't like was that the guy writing the editorial jumped

from gastric bypass to intestinal bypass in the same breath, citing liver

failure as a result of intestinal bypass. It seemed murky to me.

Gastric Bypass Surgery Weakens Bones Gastric bypass surgery, which helps

people to lose large amounts of weight by reducing the absorption of

hold a small amount of food and add a bypass that allows food to go around

part of the small intestine, limiting the absorption of calories.
