Guest guest
Hi Donna, No, it's set at shoulder width, as per the guidelines. We continue to see Dr. P and Dr. Morcuende for checkups and they've examined her bar each time. She's 75th percentile for height, so she's not unusually small. She has the two piece bar which, when she was an infant, was practically doubled on itself.. now there's only a couple inches of overlap, with the two black clamps holding it in place. There's certainly not much more adjustment room, but she won't need it at this age! > > > > Hi Stacee, > > > > my daughter has worn the same red two-piece adjustable bar all the > > years she's had it, the same one she got in Iowa as an infant. > it's > > been slightly widened over time as she has grown, with larger > shoes > > replacing the littler ones. Guest guest
, Thanks for the info. I was so curious because has the same bar and at 14 months I just moved it and it is not quite shoulder width apart but there is only 1 inch of overlap and I don't think we can make it much wider. I just measured bolt to bolt and it is 11 " . I'm thinking we probably have different sizes of the same type bar. Somewhere I read that it comes in two different lengths. Anyway, thanks for answering my questions! Guest guest
Donna, That must be it. I just measured Claire's, and it's 14 inches bolt to bolt. One half of the bar is 8 inches, the other is 9, with 3 inches of overlap. I looked at the Markell Ponseti flyer http://www.markellshoe.com/ponsetiflyer.pdf (which has info on the bars), and it says the adjustable type comes in a max 11 and a max 15 inch version; we've only had the one size though. Take care, =)
