To have lost only 38 lbs in 2 years eating 800 calories is not good. I just wonder if you have a mechanical problem? Can it be fixed? The other thing is are you actually consuming enough calories. I know sometimes if I bump my calories up 100 or so calories, my weight starts dropping. Now, please understand that I am not blaming you but it might be worth a try while you are trying to find a surgeon who is willing to work with you on any mechanical problems you may have.
