The other test is the IgG test ELISA, also called a food panel. My

son's test covered over 90 foods & spices. His IgE (RAST) was

negative for the foods tested, but the IgA was positive for the same

items, so it can help to have both tests run.

But the original question was how to determine whether the diet is

needed. Some listmates have reported negative results on these

tests, but great diet benefits. Some listmates had the kids tested

for opioids, but there's a debate about the accuracy those tests. So

in the end, the best test of all is a 100% glutenfree/caseinfree

trial for at least 3 months (many say longer).
