Guest guest
Hey Amy, ,my doctor prescribe tylenol and codine in a liquid form. Of course I have had little pain due to the nerve damage, but the codine really help my throat so that I could get things down. I also ended up in the hospital and extra night because of fever. They gave me anti-biotics in my IV and sent me home the next day. I am now just over one week postop and doing very well Hope things go better for you todd > > This is one of my favorite meals. Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear of your miserable post op life. It does get better. I can't say I know " exactly " what your talking about, but I know what you might be going through. I'm going on 3 weeks post op, and at about 1 week post op I got a really bad sore throat. It hurt like a sharp pain in my throat that prevented me from drinking fluids. I found out it was easier to swallow fluids if they were warm. I also bought some Chloroseptic sore throat spray. Even though the spray is temporary, I would use it before I know I was going to eat or drink. It helped. My sore throat went away after a week. Hope you feel better. > > This is one of my favorite meals. I love it especially with chopped > up hotdogs, but as you all know, it's a little difficult to eat this > type of stuff 2 weeks post op.
