Guest guest
I am wired shut for another 7 weeks and I would really like to know the most effective way to get the sweaters off of the inside of my teeth since I cannot brush there. I have tried hydrogen peroxide, salt water, mouthwash and flouride and although it gets better, there is still a layer there and on the roof of my mouth. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hmmm. I dunno what " the sweaters " are, unless they're the same gunk that all of us put up with. Best suggestion I can make -- and it's only an idea if your surgeon says it is OK -- is to try a Waterpik on a gentle setting. That helped me a lot - I was not wired, but did have a splint in there, unremovable, for seven weeks. Have you asked your surgeon, or his staff, for ideas? Guest guest
Aghhhh, Fuzzy slippers on the teeth... I would suggest just brushing the outside well and continue to swish with salt water and mouthwash. Also drink things like broth and other filling liquids and it WILL go away or you won't notice as much.
