Guest guest
The trouble with " natural flavors " is that it truly can be just about anything. I have seen innocuous looking tea bags, supposedly fruit tea. The fine print says natural flavors. The fine fine print explains that they extract this " peach " (or whatever) flavor from soy lecithin. Now, there's no way that to me this is peach flavor. But I guess since soy lecithin is something extracted from soy, it is considered natural rather than chem-lab. This of course raises the question of just what do they do to the lecithin to get peach out of it? Somehow I doubt if it's like pressing olive oil out of olives. I bet it's some chemical process, I'm sure it must be. So, I know I won't have anything to do with " natural flavors " . Of course the first and foremost one is sugar. I'm sure if we called them on this they would protest that sugar is natural and it is a flavor.
