Guest guest Posted September 11, 2001 Report Share Posted September 11, 2001 Doreen, I had a total hysterectomy 9 years ago; don't know how close uterus & ovaries are to target area (I'm an art teacher, not health care professional) but I've had no problems since surgery. I've heard of quite a few people who had gallbladders removed prior to DS with no subsequent problems.
