Guest guest
I have a friend who just recently had a lap rny. She had compications. Her ileum shut down and she ended up with bi-lateral pneumonia. Now she is home and suffering from terrible nausea. She is getting very discouraged. She very badly needs to talk to someone who has had this sort of complication and has come through it.
Guest guest
I had lap RNY but without any complications. And, the complications your friend is suffering from are not the kind you usually hear about such as leaks or incision infections. If I were your friend I would try to see a more experienced bariatric surgeon for a 2nd opinion about how to proceed. Her condition sounds pretty serious but of course I am not a doctor. from Washington Lap RNY Sept 2001 Minus 205.5 pounds 333.5/128 http://www.wworw.com > I have a friend who just recently had a lap rny.
