2 years!!! SCD success !

I made it ! I passed my 2 year mark on SCD!!!

And I'm 6500 miles from home!!!

I can't describe how happy I am.

And all of this thanks to Elaine, SCD, LDN and all of guys.

Sine the beginning of my symptoms and later my diagnosis, 3 years ago, I stopped

traveling. I was insecure to go anywhere far from home or my mothers place where

we go in the Summer.

But now look at me -from Sofia to San Francisco. We celebrated my 2 year SCD

birthday here in the USA and I even had a glass of red wine (legal of course).

My SCD journey was hard, slow and I moved forward with tiny steps, but I never

stopped believing that SCD will help and there will be light in the end of the

tunnel.

For all the newbies - don't be discourage if the results come slow or even if

you don't see them in the beginning. My " beginning " was almost 1 1/2 year but

now I eat delicious food, go to wonderful places and don't look if there is a

toilet close to where I am.

My major problem were steroids which complicated my tolerance to various foods

and were hard to wean off.

I have to say that here LDN helped a lot and now I'm on it and small dose of

mesalazine which doesn't bother me.

Anyway, I really want to thank you all, past and present members of the group

to Marilyn for everything that she is and everything that she does,

to Mara, n and Carol for never stopped reminding about LDN.

to Gay, Kim M , Kim H (I really miss her), to Misty - for your wonderful recipes

to Jodi always ready to encourage and sympathize.

I'm sure I'm missing somebody, but really anyone here on that group can help

with something.

An last but absolutely not least, the diet introduced me to a wonderful friend

in France - Janja. She was the first person who wrote to me and became my dear

friend.

So in a bad times I found good people thanks to SCD!!!
