We're planning a trip this summer and I was planning on bringing that card with me that requests you be allowed to order from the children's menu. My question really involves the buffets. They charge a set price for adults and children. It is truly a huge waste of money for me to pay $22 when I can only eat a tiny bit of food. I'm hoping someone has experience with just paying a child's price. I will try to call the individual restaurants before we leave, but I figure I'll probably get the run around. If someone has had prior experience, it would be helpful to be able to relate that to whoever I talk to.
Guest guest
Lori Ann, Congratulations on your weight loss. However, not all of us can afford to throw money away on uneaten foods. I have no problem asking for a child's portion or presenting my card. I'm proud of the decision I made to get my life healthy again. I do have a problem paying $22.00 on food that I know I'll be lucky to eat $2.00 worth...lol. As far as taking a doggy bag home, thats great when your home but when traveling it makes it harder. Besides that doggy bag can last me three days or more...lol. Oh well, my opinion. Everyone have a wonderful blessed day.
