Guest guest
I have to say I have considered a Medic Alert. BUT....ok...I am VAIN!!!!!!!! I haven't seen one that I like well enough to wear ALL the time. LOL They haven't come out with a diamond tennis bracelet one yet. However, it has been several years since I have looked into this, so maybe there is something new that I might be willing to wear. Yeah, OK...I know!!!!! I AM VAIN and I only wear GOOD jewelry. Guest guest
ALLLL RIGHT!!!!!! A woman after my own heart. LOL I have seen several on line that might be a possibility. Unfortunately I would not be able to wear it with the bracelets I already have on...so I guess I would start on the other wrist. OMG....... I sound so snooty. Believe me I am not. LOL Just a little particular when it comes to my jewelry and my has spoiled me rotten. I don't want to wear something ugly with the beautiful things he has gifted me with. Never in my life (or in my wildest dreams) did I ever think I would have some of the beautiful pieces of jewelry he has given me over the last 4 years. I refuse to take them off! My wedding and engagement rings are a thing of beauty. Believe me....I am NOT bragging about my jewelry...I am bragging about my ! None of the items I have, have I asked for. He just comes home with them. OK...used to... LOL Now that he is laid off....I insist that he be NOT so spontaneous! He is a loving, sweet, generous to a fault, man! He loves that I enjoy jewelry (his first wife didn't...sweats and tennies ---nothing wrong with them---but not as a daily thing) and that I like to get dressed up and go places (she didn't). He likes showing ME off! And I like that he likes to show me off. Dear Debbie in Gig Harbor, I'm from Beverly Hills, and speak about vain -- I wouldn't wear a medical bracelet until I could fine one 18 k gold, and very slim. Since I couldn't find what I wanted, I took a favorite gold bracelet to a jewelry maker/repairer, and asked him to put a slim piece in the center of it that had a medical emblem on the outside, and engraved on the inside that I am a diabetic, had gastric bypass, and NO N/G tube without scope, along with my doctor's name and phone number. The writing is so small I can't read it without my glasses, and I wear it with my gold watch as a bracelet. I've worn it over 10 years now (only recently had the gastric bypass info added) and no one ever knows it's not a regular bracelet except for medical personnel -- they comment on it as it's so unusual. Go ahead and be proud, but WEAR a MEDICAL BRACELET! All the best, -- Naomi The only disability in life is a bad attitude. -- Hamilton
