Guest guest
Hello, just got back from Hayden's third casting. Dr. Pirani is away, so it was his replacement Milt. He was nice enough if not a bit of a know-it-all and kind of liked the sound of his own voice, but the appointment went well and that's all that matters to me. There were more students (can't seem to get away from it - every midwifery appointment I had there was a student, too), but they were quiet and asked questions here and there. I got a little nervous when they didn't put him in my lap, but I gave Hayden some formula and he was great through pretty much the whole thing. He only fussed again for amoment when they were trying to keep his left (bad) foot in position and he started to fight them. I was all for keeping the right cast on because the skin on his left leg was just fine, but Milt told me to take it off because they didn't want it to get to tight from him growing. So we did. The fact that his skin is okay is a big deal for me because we had such a hard time though the summer. The left foot is still quite far behind and I am going to post a couple of photos once I download them off the camera (is there a camera that will just " beam " the photos?) so you can all see.
