Markell's open heel or closed heel?

Does anyone have the open heel shoes? We got the closed heels and we are on

day 2 in

the FAB (Markell Straight Last open toe with the adjustable DBB). It seems to

be going ok.

Rory's been sleeping through the night even with his FAB on. But I was

wondering, would

it be worth the hassle (dealling with the doctors, orthotics company, insurance

company,

etc.) to get the open heel shoes?
