Guest guest
Good to hear it was nothing serious. As for the eating good luck. I had upper only and was able to eat soft chew foods after one week. One of my favorites was pancakes swimming in syrup. I also found that bread smothered in gravy and cut up in small pieces was very easy to swallow without chewing at all. Don't now if you are wired shut or tightly banded but if not almost any can be cut and mushed up finely enough to take small bites without chewing. > > > > > > I am 4 days post surgery - upper and lower - my mouth seems to > feel > > > like it's swollen and there's white skin inside my cheeks - I > don't > > > know if I'm having some type of allergic reaction - or if it's > normal > > > and just the skin trauma from the surgery - has anyone > experienced > > > this? right now it's 2 am and I'm thinking of calling my doctor. > Some > > > of the feeling is coming back so that may be part of it
