Excalibur Dehydrator Noise

Okay, I've been reading some scary reviews about this thing making as

much noise as a bathroom fan. Depending on how loud of a bathroom fan

we're talking about, this could be an issue. We were thinking about

getting one and putting it in our kitchen, but my parents are very

light sleepers and they're right down the hall. For those of you who

have one, exactly how much noise does it make?
