Guest guest
.. I quit losing weight fairly early (about 10 months post op). I had really orginally wanted to get to 150, but have been at 165 since about the end of January. However, I am more than happy with my size and my weight is stable no matter what I do (eat) or don''t do (excercise) so I am very happy with my result. >>>>>>>>>>>> Same with me, Dawn! I stopped losing (its seems) at 10 months and Im at 160 now and no matter what I eat I do not gain. I have already reached my goal in terms of size, just as you have! I can fit into size 10 shorts with elastic waist and size 12 comfortably in pants. Last time I was size 12 I weighed 125!!!!!! I would like to lose 20 more but its no big deal as Im very comfortable where I am now! Hugs, Judie
Guest guest
Kathy, I can see how scary too fast can be. I am envious just the same. Would you possible share a typical daily menu? I am a slow loser and would like to fins a way to speed it up. Could you maybe eat more carb to slow you down? Now I am worrying about losing too much too fast. You all probably think I am a nut case, but I need to ask if I am doing OK. I started out at 5'1.5 " and 213 with BMI of about 40. Tomorrow will be 9 weeks and I weighed in today at 166 with a BMI of about 31. As much as I am so happy to be losing so much, is that too fast? I am about 50% to my goal at only 9 weeks. I know many doctors consider 50% excess weight loss a success, so by those terms I have already made it. Am I crazy to be worried? Should I just shut up and be happy? > > Thanks for listening, > Kathy M. > DS 7/19/01 > 213 pre-op > 166 today > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >
