Guest guest
I think this is the recipe, as it was posted, that you were looking for. ## Evan seems to like these quick rolls pretty well. I also added some Italian spices to make a sort of pizza bread. this was posted to the gfcf list by Cheryl and I modified it for us just a bit. It seemed to need more guar gum to keep it from crumbling. ---Betty ( This recipe was posted to the celiac list by Jane Conrad. She uses them for hamburger or hot dog buns, but I use them for quick rolls. They seem a lot like Noah's bread, but have been a lot less temperamental, at least for me :-) Cheryl) Quick Rolls 3/4 cup rice flour or sorghum flour 1/4 cup potato starch 1/2 cup tapioca starch 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp guar gum 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp sugar Mix above ingredients together, and add: 2 eggs 1/3 cup oil 1/2 cup gfcf milk replacement Bake inside of muffin rings or hamburger roll forms, Sprinkle with seeds if you like and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown on top. Makes about 5 buns. Don't undercook or they will fall when cooling. Let cool completely on racks. " ## Hope this is it. Cristina-WA
Guest guest
This is THE best bread product we have had since starting the diet. Thanks so much! Have you ever made this into an actual loaf of bread? I would like to try but don't want to re-invent the wheel. Thanks again! -Meggie > Quick Rolls > > 3/4 cup rice flour or sorghum flour > 1/4 cup potato starch > 1/2 cup tapioca starch > 2 tsp baking powder > 2 tsp guar gum > 1/2 tsp salt > 1 tbsp sugar > > Mix above ingredients together, and add: > 2 eggs > 1/3 cup oil > 1/2 cup gfcf milk replacement > > Bake inside of muffin rings or hamburger roll forms, Sprinkle with > seeds if > you like and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown on top. > Makes about 5 buns.
