Guest guest
(age 2 months with bcf) got her Markell shoes with the 6 inch DBB yesterday afternoon. When I took them off this afternoon, she had developed a bad blister on her right foot big toe on the side. Her toes curve over so that the toenail is a bit on the side of her foot rather than on the top so the shoe evidently rubbed it. There is a dark red blister and some dried blood (black) under the skin of her toenail on the side. I don't think I can put these shoes back on my baby. I will get her in to see her orthopedist tomorrow but it is breaking my heart. screamed and cried for about the first 12 hours in the shoes (unless she was nursing or sleeping), but she seemed to adjust and has been pretty happy today. I have thought of going to see Dr. Ponseti and wonder if I should order the shoes. I don't care what it costs...insurance didn't even pay for the Markells' and the DBB...I just want my baby to be comfortable and have good feet. Thanks for any help or advice, Carol and , bcf, 10-27-05, just started DBB 23/
