Hi! If you are wanting to go the Ponseti CERTIFIED doctor route,

there are none listed in Pennsylvania. It looks like the closest to

you would be in Cleveland. I can't speak from experience about this

particualr doctor, though I am sure that someone on this group has

taken their child to see Dr. Armstrong, and could give you an

opinion about him. His contact info is:

G. Armstrong, M.D.

Department of Orthopaedics

Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital

11100 Euclid Avenue

Cleveland, OH 44106

Tel:

Good luck, and keep us posted!

I think some parents in your area travel to Dr. Herzenberg in

Baltimore. He's one of the experienced docs in the method. Here's a

link to his site (you can request a free DVD for more info):

I'm so glad that all the tests turned out alright. Now you can breathe. 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself" ( 16:24 NIV).Subject: thank youTo: neurosarcoidosis , sarcoidconnection@...Date: Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 12:01 PM

Hi to all,

i want to thank all of you who asked, and said prayers for my wife..Last night we received the results of the biopsy and it showed that she was clean from cancer. the dr said that she has to have examinations evry couple of months for the next following years, and we hope it won't return.

As for me, after doing another set of blood tests, the dr said that they are normal, no hepititus c, no problem with the liver and I can cancel my appoinment with the liver dr. I'm happy about the rsults but didn't cancel it. i have too many questions to ask!

Tracie, , Darlene, and all of you that take time to answer emails, I want to thank you, I know I have not been very good at answering emails, sometimes because I don't have an answer, sometimes it's because I can only sit so long before hurting, then get up and never get back, but No excuses, I will do better, if just to let you know I will be praying for you. I do that everyday for all of us. I am finding it harder to sit and type too, right now with all our cold and snowColorado, my hands are so painful, just my forearm touching my cold desk to type will send pain up my arms. I had to reschedule my Remicade because the pharmacy said it would take 2 days when they've always done over night delivery, would be nice to talk to the same person each time. Anyway, will get it Friday, and boy do I need it. Went back on Methotrexate, but my Doc wants me

to go off Plaquanil, only half way off, and my skin isgoing crazy, more tired, but that might be the cold too, I hate going out, sowhen I do I plan everything that day, and pay for it. Tracie you are awesome, even when you are ill, you are there for everyone, you are a rock, and know I am praying for you the rock to feel better soon too. You are the one that holds this group together, and you are so appreciated. I hope each and everyone a blessed New Year, in hopes that this is a better year then last year. Thank you, Blessings, Marla

Thank you so much PJ and Carol. You are absolutely right. I don't want this to

turn into a power struggle. He has already said that so much of this is out of

his control-that there are just some things he wants the freedom to choose to

do. I get that. I really do.

I will definitely tell him that he can find the support he needs here when/if he

chooses to start. Thank you.

I have thought that maybe I would do the diet ahead of him anyway to see what

the process is, etc. It could serve as a good example. :-)

Plus I get the added bonus of reaching an amazing level of health!

Alyssa, you are one amazing young woman. You're strength is impressive-keep up

the good work. ;-)

Good Luck and best of health to you all.

encouraging words.

board. So what I've been doing is trying to be a lot more conscious of what I am

feeding him here at home. I know that what I give him is better for him and yet

I've become discouraged by his response to the food. I am seeing that because he

is not on the diet and openly accepting it that he's also not open to trying new

things. I think it'll be a long process of changing the palette as well as

convincing him that this is the best choice for managing his disease. I feel

like I want to cry. I want this so much for him and he's not having it. I guess

I'm the one that needs to let it go-for now. :-)

I'll be back to ask some more questions when we're actually doing the diet. :-)

Just a quick note to say Thank you for all the wonderful Birthday wishes. I was

able to go for a spin in my best friends "new" Corvette--- it's 20 yrs old with only 44,000 miles on it! At least we looked good!

Blessings to all,

Tracie
