Hi -

You are right. Dr. Jossart worked with Dr. Rabkin in

San Francisco, Ca, until August of 2001. He is now

starting his own practice in the same building as Dr.

Rabkin. However, I do not have any idea if he will

still be doing WLS. My understanding was that he was

not going to continue in this field and he was going

to do more general surgery -- but I could be

completely wrong.

Dr. Jossart worked with or for Doctor Rabkin. I believe he left that

practice to start his own, last month. Apparently, he is interested

in pursing more general surgeries, and he is a master of laparoscopic

surgery. His practice will be in the same building as Dr. Rabkin,

but I understand he will not be performing WLS.

His creditentials are very very impressive.

That was my understanding as well. But a friend of mine just had a

pre-DS consult with Dr. Jossart within the past couple weeks. Maybe

he just got tired of being the second fiddle? Who knows.
