Guest guest
hi everyone, my son and i are new to this whole thing and have a few questions for anyone who has already done it. My son is 18 and has been heavy {but gorgeous} most of his young life. He has juvenile degeneratve disc disease, arthritis in his back and a possible ruptured disc {he's having a myelogram in a few days to find out for sure because he won't fit in the mri tube}. He weighs over 350 we don't know how much over cause that's as high as the drs scale goes. His back surgeon is making him do the wls because he says he can't fix his back until he fixes his weight. he wants to know if u can feel the staples in your stomach, if you dont eat when u get hungry do u get sick, if u have to eat every 15 minutes, and generally anything u can tell him to ease his fears. He has a lot to worry about with his pain and back stuff and i don't want him to have to wait for his class on wls to find out the things he is most worried about. Thanks, Boo's mom
