Guest guest
Hi all, I am trying to track the age factor as it relates to side effects in recovery. Our bodies secrete less hormones and other chemicals as we age, which if we could see some trends, might be able to replensish some things which might reduce side effects. My guess is that those with less side effects are under 40-45. but I could be wrong. This is the general time period when some hormones start to diminish, in both men and women (human growth hormone, female hormones, estridiol, progesterone, etc). I'm not a doctor,it's a long shot, but I thought I'd start collecting data. So if you wouldn't mind, if you could mention your age when they discuss your recovery it would help. Thanks. You're not only not a doctor, you aren't nurse either. I am 65. I have no problems. Except my ongoing disgust at how nurse practitioners are somehow 'overlooked' when folks talk about their medical and mental health issues. We do the work with higher patient satisfaction than MDs have. in Seattle
