Guest guest
I think it would depend on the kind of breadmaker you're using. I just recently bought a Regal breakmaker from Walmart (thanks to whomever suggested this brand) and have been using my favorite recipe using the regular bread setting with great success. The only thing I have to watch for it that sometimes, during the mixing process, not all the flour gets incorporated so I have to use a spatula to scrape down the flour into the bread pan. Once that's done, the rest of the mixing and baking process has been fine. I've been quite happy with my breads. If you want my recipe, just let me know. Guest guest
Hello : This has been my favorite recipe since I've started making GFCF breads. This is the version I use with my breadmaker. The non-breakmaker version is slightly different. Dry Ingredients: 1 cup sorghum flour 1 cup rice flour (if you don't have sorghum flour, use 2 cups rice flour) 2/3 cup potato starch 1/3 cup tapioca starch 2 1/2 tsps xanthan gum 1 1/2 tsps salt 2 tbl sps sugar 1 package dry yeast Wet Ingredients: 3 eggs 1 2/3 cup water 3 tblsps oil (I use olive oil) 1 tsp vinegar (I use rice vinegar, but cider vinegar is ok too) The wet ingredients go in first, dry ingredients on top, yeast last. I've been using the basic bread setting to make the breads and they've come out fine. I hope you like it. ( & Malachi's mom)
