I wonder, because when I had my consult with the nutritionist, she told me to stick with less than 10 carbs and low sugars too. Guest guest
Hi Kathy - I love the Luna bars. They have several that are like eating candy - Pecan pie - Chocolate over nuts (or something like that). They give about 10 grams of protein....I buy them at Meijer when I'm doing my regular shopping - they are in the " health food " section with the regular groceries....(not HBC). Good luck in your search! Mickey L. 7/31/01 Surgery pre-op 367 now - 316!!! 51 pounds gone forever!!! > Can anyone recommend a good protein bar? I want to be able to order it from the web as I have a hard time getting to a store without dragging two screaming kids. I don't do shakes very well and I especially hate the slimfast kind. I was hoping I could find a bar that tastes good so I can get my protein up. Guest guest
I like to order stuff from http://www.netrition.com . You can order single bars so that you can try them out before ordering a whole box of them. Luna bars are good. Doctor's Diet and Carb Solutions not too bad. You just gotta try different ones and see what you like.
