Guest guest
Whoohoo!! That is great news, and the fact that the Markells WERE working is even better. Means his foot is probably finally... corrected!!!! I never like the idea of that gold adjustable bar myself for that reason. I was not terribly interested in the beating I'd get with it! Guest guest
Yeah - last night went just fine and he even slept in his crib for about 6 hours, which hasn't happened in a very long time! Suh-weet! I notice that his left foot is still lifting a bit and I think I have read this from other parents, so will try and review the posts about it. He seems to like them a lot and was examining the leather straps this morning. And you are right Kori - it really FEELS like his feet are corrected. I have noticed that his left foot moves to 70 degrees very easily now where it felt stiff before, but I think wearing the shoes has made a big difference. I feel like now I can get off of the tenterhooks and just relax and enjoy my son like I should have been doing all along. One thing I know for sure: I could not have gotten this far without all of the support from everyone in this group. Big big thanks again to everyone! frogabog wrote: Whoohoo!! Guest guest
What good news! My dh won't even try to put on the shoes. If I am ever incapacitated, we are in big trouble! LOL Carol Hayden's in His s! They came in today and I just put them on him after his bath. He was totally cool with us putting them and was interested in what was going on. I think they must be pretty comfy. After he fell asleep I noticed that one foot was lifting too much (the shoe his DAD did, hmph) and I took it off and fixed it without him even batting an eye! Yay! It is funny how quickly we got accustomed to the Markells as it was going very nicely with them. That is good to know for down the road in case we switch over eventually. I'm just glad they're finally here - they're a lot lighter than the others and the bar doesn't stick out on the sides (my thighs are saying thank you!), now I feel like we are on our course and shouldn't stray again! Woo hoo! I'll post a picture of him once I get one.
Guest guest
My dh gets huffy if I try to tell him the right way to do them - I think it bugs him that I know more about something than he does! Guest guest
My dh just read Carol's post over my shoulder and said " I'd be in the same boat if something happened to you!! " Nice to know we're needed, huh?! Even if it is a sort of backhanded compliment! :-) Stacee > My dh gets huffy if I try to tell him the right way to do them - I > think it bugs him that I know more about something than he does! > > Carol Shelton wrote: What good > news! Guest guest
hehehe....I have told my husband that he needs to put on her shoes once just for practice in case he ever needs to and he said, " I've watched you before so know how. " Yeah, right! A big chicken, he is!!! My husband knows he would be in such bad shape without me to do all the " dirty work " around here. HA!
