Guest guest
So nice to hear from you, I do remember you! I am so sorry about Calvins AND your year. Who are you seeing at Gillette? I would sure request a good bout of casting before surgery. Did they put him in an AFO? Maybe he could wear the shoes and bar at night if he will tolerate them. I get my clubfoot fix here on the boards and that helps. I really miss the babies. The planning for this Philippine mission is helpful and I hope I can make it work in the next year. I am working with Dr. Neil who is a general Orthopedic surgeon in Burnsville with Orthopedic Consultants. If you have any other Ortho needs give me a call. I would be very happy to take a look/feel of Calvins feet if you would like. Best to you all, Beth > > Hi Beth, I haven't been on here in a REALLY long time. Guest guest
Hi Jen, Just wanted to say hi to you and Calvin! It's good to hear from you again. I am SO sorry he has had such a rough year.. poor little guy! I know that a femur break is very serious.. how did it happen? What a shame! it's good that you were able to get him to Dr. P for a look.. So, is Calvin wearing the FAB? I hope that he heals well and that ATTT proves to not be needed.. Take care and please let us know how he does, your old friends and Claire, age 5 1/2 > > Hi Beth, I haven't been on here in a REALLY long time. Guest guest
Yes I know Dr. Fisher well, I spent time at the Centennial lakes office with another surgeon from March 2004 to Nov. 2005. I used to beg Dr. Fisher to call me when he had these femur fractures because I really loved constructing the spica casts (I must say I'm pretty good at it ;>). I was probably in the clinic during one of your visits, Wish I had known. Feel free to call any time Beth > > > > > > Hi Beth, I haven't been on here in a REALLY long time.
