Guest guest
Here is my best link for Asperger Syndrome in general. It also includes listservs similar to this one, you can request to join. http://www.udel.edu/bkirby/asperger/index.html Also, aggression in AS children is many times [but not always] associated with high phenols, here is more information on that http://home.pacbell.net/cscomp/phenol.htm Who is " they " who wants to " ship him off " out of state? Have " they " offered anything else besides this? Most medical people advocate drug intervention first [altho I would prefer dietary/phenol intervention first], so the thought of " shipping him off " as a first step, to me, sounds very abusive. Are " they " charging him in juvenile court with a crime? " They " cannot keep him in a psyche hospital beyond 72 hours in most states, without parental consent or a court order, so there are options for the parents. Here is an advocacy group if you need someone to help you regain this child. http://www.protectionandadvocacy.com/pa12.htm If you would like to send me an email, I have many other links and information for AS children and adults. Here is my site url, my email address is here, as well as at the top of this message here. http://home.pacbell.net/cscomp/dmain.htm Dana > Could someone please let me know some good links/or advice for a friend who > has a great-nephew that was just diagnosed with this.
