Abdominal Pain

Hi, I'm not a newbie here, just a lurker. Have been with the group since

about 6 mos pre op, and am now a year and a half out. Lost 145 pounds, from

364. Still have another 40 or so to lose, plastics (tummy/arms) scheduled

for end of June.

My question is, has anyone ever had trouble with severe abdominal pain

after taking Tylenol? I use the liquid stuff as I cannot tolerate pills

well. It doesnt happen all the time, usually when on an empty or semi empty

stomach. Usually the pain kicks in about 20 mins after taking it and lasts

for about 15 mins, but find that when I take it before bed sometimes, that

it will sit in my stomach for many hours, then wake me up in gut wrenching

pain in the middle of the night. I have been experiencing this since postop

as my dr gave me liquid lortab for pain. I used to think it was the lortab,

then realized that the base for lortab is tylenol, and also starting have

the episodes when taking plain tylenol.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!!
