Guest guest
Oh, Jen, I'm SO sorry.. I know the clubfoot issue adds a level of concern that makes the whole thing even more poignant and difficult for you, but don't beat yourself up! it was an accident! I remember being so impressed at your strength and persistence to get him the best care when he was a baby.. traveling all the way from Japan to Iowa. You're a good mom! It's just something that happens in life, and you are doing what you need to to take care of him. When my (non cf) son was 11 months old he fell partway down our stairs with me two feet away from him and broke his leg near his ankle.. he was in a cast for a month and I felt absolutely terrible about it.. (funny how it foreshadowed me later having a baby in a cast for a different reason). The fortunate thing is that it happened to Calvin at an age when it can heal just fine.. I'm sure that is a comfort to know. I'm glad he's doing fine with the brace.. Take care, please stick around and let us know how things go, with best wishes, > > > > > > Hi Beth, I haven't been on here in a REALLY long time.
