That is, I think, also what I've heard, especially if you count

Canada as the UK. I know of one person who had them there. And it may

be that some surgeons are authorized to be using them in the United

States, although that's infrequent, at best. At least as far as the

posts on these boards.

I do not know if it is experimental in the US, but I have some kind

of reabsorbable plates and screws in my mouthand I live in North

Carolina, USA. SO far I have had no problems with them.
