Both Pepsid and Zantac reduce acid production. You might want to try

Prevacid which works to shut down acid production to a near stop. It sure

works for me.

Gail -

Prevacid worked best for me. I found out during the pre-op testing that I

have GERD. Due to my insurance company, I had to switch to Prilosec.

Which, for me, didn't work as well. So am getting ready to try Nexium.

Many folks have raved about how well that works, too.

Nexium is just Prilosec with only minor changes so that they can get

patent protection because Prilosc's patent has run out. --Steve
