Guest guest
www.gfcfdiet.com has a wonderful list of all of the foods that are ok and not ok. It is wonderful when you are starting out. I printed all the pages and put them in a 3 ring binder. I know they get updated, and you have to check ingred. regardless, but it is a lifesaver. I carry that binder on every grocery trip now. But, to answer your question, Fleishman's Light, Unsalted in stick and tub are acceptable. So, if a recipe says " butter " , that means you would use a substitute like Fleishman's. I know there are a couple of other kinds, but I am too new at this to keep one bit of extraneous information in my head! Go to that website I mentioned. It is a great starting place. Guest guest
If it says butter, I substitute an acceptable margarine. Lolita >, now I'm confused. We're new to this GF/CF diet, >and I was POSITIVE that butter was a no no. Are we >misguided? Is butter OK?
