Guest guest
The three other physicians who work with Dr. Gagner DO accept insurance for the consult and they have a better schedule, in that you may see them more quickly. I think that Dr. Gagner is enjoying a lot of success. That doesn't mean that his colleagues are less able. I have a consult on 11/1 with Dr. Herron who is a member of that department. Why not see if he, Dr. Inabet or Dr. Pomp can see you?
Guest guest
Greed, Pure and Simple IMHO. I understood when Gagner switched to charging upfront. However $300 for a consult is rather pricey. Yes Gagner is the most experienced lap-ds surgeon out there and other surgeons are in awe of lap skills. For $300 you get the following: 1. A form letter to your insurance company. (Albeit a the best wls form letter, filled in with your relevant data.) 2. 10 minutes of questions from the nurse. 3. 15 minutes with Dr.Gagner. 4. A 1 minute stethescope exam of your abdomen. 5. Your 3 week follow up exam. 6. Your three month follow-up exam. 7. Phone contact with the nurse. You have to decide if this is worth it for you. > I just got a call from Dr. Gagner's office. What's the deal with this?
