Guest guest
Lactose is a polysaccharide, just as grains are polysaccharides. So anyone with a lactose intolerance will probably also have difficulties digesting grains. Medical science does tend to focus on lactose intolerance being caused by the lack of enzymes needed to digest the lactose, and not take the logic a step further and consider that anyone who can’t digest lactose is likely to have problems with other polysaccharides such as grains. Fortunately for us we have done our research and ended up giving SCD a try. And found it worked wonders. Kim M. SCD 6 years >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Just out of curiousity, wouldn't people who have lactose intolerance also have an intolerance to polysaccharides as well like all grains? If so, shouldn't drs. be telling these people to stay away from grains as well? Thanks!
