Hi all,

Granted there are probably some stickers out there that don't contain a

gluten substance . . . but we won't be taking any chances after an incident

in ' preschool this spring.

He came home on the bus with a sticker on his face from his music teacher. I

removed it immediately, and there was a huge red welt/blister underneath

which lasted for days on his cheek. It not only looked painful, it caused

such a bad behavioral reaction that was out of sorts for two whole

weeks. And I mean really out of sorts -- back came the screeching, the

head-banging, the non-compliance, all pre-diet behavior for him.

Not sure if it contained gluten, or perhaps some other chemical which

was sensitive to.

The upside of this incident -- preschool teachers and aides who had to deal

with the bad behavior as a result of this infraction are now true believers

in the diet! They even call me to double-check things now. :-)
