Guest guest
Tracie, My husband contracted the flu last week. He was so bad that he couldn't go to work for a week. I saw what he went through and wouldn't want anyone coming down with the same flu. Especially with two other diagnosis', you must feel like crap! I am sorry that you have to go through with hope you feel better real soon. We all miss you when you are ill and can't join IN Subject: foggy brainTo: neurosarcoidosis Date: Saturday, March 21, 2009, 11:29 PM I've managed to come down with a nasty, nasty case of the flu and bronchitis and a sinus infection. Wooohooo! A triple whammie! I'm really having a rough time with the insulin, I just started it on Feb 25 and because of this added crap, I went from finally getting it down to 143 in the morning, to over 200 all day long today. Yep, already got on the antibiotics- - so hopefully by tomorrow or Monday they should kick in at least somewhat. I have been trying to figure out why I hadn't been hearing from anyone, and between putting in a new Virus program, and it's firewall-- nothing was coming through. It didn't help that I was looking at 's email box instead of mine.... Sometimes life's a beach, sometimes, it'd be a step up to get to beach-dom. Guest guest
Sorry to hear you have been so sick, the combination you've been having is miserable. Hopefully, like you say the antibiotics will kick in and you will feel better; it should help lower your blood sugar too once the infection backs off. Guest guest
Tracie, sorry to hear you have all that on top of sarc. That truly s*cks! I usually get sick sometime in Feb./March. So far the ( usual pleurisy Feb attack) chest pain hasn't gotten over the top and I've only needed antibiotics for the facial cr*p. It's been a tight chest hug but I've been able to handle it. No narcotics yet.....lol. Do you think all the fires/smoke from earlier this year could have made you more susceptible? During the last month I have been sleeping extra cuz of the muscle pain. I'm taking MSM but I may be calling to ask for neurontin soon. Take care of yourself! hugs S. 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself" ( 16:24 NIV)."No one whose hope is in You will ever be put to shame….Show me Your ways, O LORD, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are God my Savior, and My hope is in You all day long." Guest guest
Last summers fires definately put me into this flare-- and it's not letting up. I"ve taken Avelox for the last 3 days and am still running a fever, but at least the gunk I'm coughing up isn't as majorally infected as it was. , increase the MSM-- if you're doing the powder-- take it to a tablespoon in 1/4 c of water--- and do this 3-6 x a day-- it's water soluble, so it's like Vit C-- what you don't need your body pees out. I'm trying to just rest-- and that is a hard one for me-- I may call the MD and have him change the antibiotic-- we'll see. I know I don't have the energy to drive down to Chico, so going back in isn't gonna happen today.
