Guest guest
I'm not sure what my goal weight is, or should be. Originally, Dr. Fisher said somewhere between 145 and 155. Right now, I'm just about 155. I'm not sure I have 10 lbs. to lose, I am wearing size 8. But, because I'm an "equal opportunity weight distributor" I might be able to whittle off another 10 or 15. I'm 5'6" and pretty muscular. I really DO have big bones (broad shoulders, big risks, big ankles), so 155 on me looks like 135 on most people. At least, most people think I'm somewhere between 125 and 135. Fortunately for me, I have a flat stomach, and I don't really have a particular "problem" area. So, to the extent I need to lose any more weight, it will be an even skimming. I have a little back fat, and my triceps and inner thighs need to firm up a bit, but they aren't fat at all. I think I'm going to get my body fat tested (my scale says I'm 21 percent bodyfat, but I don't think I'm really that low) in one of those underwater tanks. They are the most accurate. That will help me choose an appropriate goal for my body. My one year date is June 8. I'd like to try and get down to 149 by then, if possible. I'm starting to step up the exercise, and I bought a bunch of Copper River Salmon...so hopefully, they will both help me. Plus, with the weather getting better...it's easier to do the walking/hiking that i love to do so much. had to leave on my birthday (April 16th), because his VISA waiver expired (you can only stay for 3 months.) I miss him like crazy. Yes, Lilka, I got over his messy little ways...because he is such a darling boy in so many ways. Romantic, sensual, sexual, easygoing, lighthearted and intuitive. And he's a cutie patooty to boot. So, I adjusted, and now I miss him...even his little piggy ways. His departure was made a little less agonizing by the descent of Olivier (yes, the bad boy) and his two adorable friends, Didier and Serge. We had a wonderful time together, I got plenty of attention...and it helped to distract me. But, they left Tuesday a.m. and so now I'm facing the empty apartment syndrome...sniff sniff.... I made it to 138 to where my body likes me, have been there for 6 months now. I just never started back to carbs, caffeine or sugar. I really do the 3 meals a day, Protein, protein, protein with a little fruit, veg's mainly. Drink all my water, take all my vitamins, and exercise no less than 5 days a week. I do swim aerobics 3 nights a week, I ride my bicycle 1 night a week, I walk everyday to take my daycare children to play at the park and I don't even count this, I do the elliptical 1 day or the treadmill, and tonight I am in a 24 hour Relay for Life for cancer. I love being active now that I not heavy any more and you have to find things you love. I get bored if I do the same exercises so I do lots of things and it keeps me going and smiling. You have to push yourself but you can make it to this point and be one who says I made my goal. It is a wonderful feeling. Take care. Donna J.sherri phillips wrote: Woo Hoo!!!!
