Consult a medical Doctor to prescribe drugs. Some DAN

doctors know how to use herbs.

The herbs contained in Ojibwa tea i.e. Essiac tea are

Burdock, turkey rhubarb, sheep sorrel and slippery elm

bark. This tea has traditionally been used for

detoxification and is the major tea used for cancer

patients in the natural healing world.

Burdock is historically one of the strongest blood

purifiers of all the herbs. It also cleanses liver. It

is used primarily as a chelating agent to remove heavy

metals.

Turkey rhubarb has been used in colon cleansing

products to help heal the gut.

Slippery Elm Bark removes mucus and is helpful in

healing tissues.

If Sheep Sorrel is the same as Sorrel then it is used

as a diruetic, kidney and liver cleanse. It also

expels worms. It is full of vitamin C.

Herbalists consider herbs the same as vegetables and

fruits full of the vitamins and minerals that the body

needs to heal. Nervines for example contain a lot of

B-vitamins, calcium and trace minerals needed to

support the nervous system.
