Guest guest
I'd like to remind everyone here about removing the full size pictures when they upload images on this group's photos section. Yahoo! creates a regular size picture, but leaves the original picture in the folder as well. The result of this is that, just two days ago, there were over 5 MB of pictures I had to delete, one by one, in several user's accounts. I won't name names, but one person had pictures near 1 MB each, for example. The usual size of pictures is around 50K (and then many are much smaller). The reason for this cleanup is that we have a pre-determined space for pictures, i.e. 30MB. We're now at 15MB, and to make room for as many people as possible, we need to minimize the space used. Yann, I've " highjacked " your thread, but it's only to remind everyone here, and I'm sorry for that. You can keep the full size version of your surgical hooks picture because it's something many of us were (or are) curious about. But if you can, remove it in two weeks, leaving only the regular size. I'd appreciate it as it'll save me a few mouse clicks Thank you all for your co-operation, Ray moderator
Guest guest
No problem Ray - I had no idea of the space limitations. The default size for that pic was good enough, so the high-res is out. > Yann, I've " highjacked " your thread, but it's only to remind everyone here, and I'm sorry for > that.
